Bat and Chat has restarted at the Indoor Bowls Complex on Station Road, Whittlesey, with the first session in many months taking place last Thursday. The popular table tennis sessions have been made possible through support from The Whittlesey Charity and Table Tennis England, with the charity providing a grant to enable free sessions for anyone who wishes to attend.

The sessions run from 11AM to 1PM every Thursday and are organised by Peter Hau. David Wright, Vice Chairman of The Whittlesey Charity, attended the restart session and made a short speech to mark the occasion. All equipment is provided for participants to use, and COVID-19 safety protocols are in place. Anyone interested in joining future sessions can turn up on Thursday mornings – no booking is required.
